heres the deal.. i have a small grow of 6 plants.. 4 are big bang and 2 are bagseed.. one of the bagseed started off as the top dog but then started to curl and show signs of heat stress so i adjusted the distance from the light... all the other plants are growing nicely but this one wouldnt.. so i just topped it! screw it... all the leaves on it were curling, turning yellow/brown, and if u touch it they crumble... so after topping it i started the plants on nutes the next day.. then this thing proceeded to show vigorous new growth .. im a bit confused as to why this new growth appears to be bud.. there are no hairs and no pollen sacks but it seems to me to look like bud? maybe im just high.. this IS my first go around indoors.. ive grown lots of plants outdoors with much success ( didnt really pay too much attention to them up close like this so it may be a normal thing that i just didnt notice before) but none of the other plants in the chamber have growth like this.. anyway.. if anyone has comments please leave them..if you go to my grow thread u will be able to see all the details and progress of this plant

I think those are scragly leaves not buds. The larger leaves have al kinds of issues themselves. Looks burnt.

I would wait till alittle taller next time before you top. I don't top until like 8 to 10 inches tall. Not saying this caused your plant problem.

thanks for the input guys... well i topped the plant early out of spite.. but that didnt turn the leaves crumbly and brown/yellow... they were like that.. thats why i topped it... i agree that it appears to be a lot of new retarded growth,, lol

I was reading something that mentions deformed new growth. Could be a phosphorus def. Not totally sure though.
