Advice needed: i have this very stretchy, super staggered plant that, every time I top a branch, instead of two tops I just get a single side-shoot as the new top.

Should i maybe FIM a branch?? Thanks for any help.

GirlScoutCookies and AK47 do the same ,mine do anyways......do your toppings ,then do them again and again never letting stem stretch from topping until next for a while creating more shoots as stem stretches.....some but not all do revert back to double shoots after repeated stem cutting stressing the stems.....also lessen daily hours to 14/10 for the days you top and mist them well.

Have u noticed any changes ? If u go 12/12 after snippings ,about a week could help it pop out more of them shoots, after give 18/6 again.

That looks a lot like Hop Latent Viroid (HLVd), or dudding off, it demonstrates a vining habit, time for a qPCR test.

Ehh, it's fine, I got a handle on it. Doubt it's HplVd because the history of this very plant is that of one with odd structure, this one isn't weak in any way. We'll see when it flowers. I'm really clean with everything, but anything's possible.

Same here mine came in on the cut of a clone only. Even with a long quarantine her vigor and seeming health got by me. But back then no one knew what it was. We had just started calling it dudding off. I mostly run a closed grow from seeds but I wanted those genetics. It had a vining habit just like that. It was about the third or fourth run of her that it became obvious. Anyway I hope I'm just being an alarmist. Let me know how it turns out and I really hope I'm wrong, best of luck with it.
