I'm using 5 cfls 2700k and one hps (unknown) and yes it is a car visor thing. Lol... I think I'm just going to let it go after I "fim" it i got nervous so I'm not doing anything else to it. I haven't used the mgrow yet.

really? theyre side ways. any way ide top the branch right above the 2nd node then that turns into 2 branches instead of 1. but you can see the tops just from one topping, its going out door and ill top it a ton over the veg period.

Mirical grow potting soil... I wanted to get that herb frog or whatever it's called but this soil was free. Amazing plants man. I wish I would have bought that soil that's already made for marijuana plants. And I wait for the dirt to almost dry out before I water it.

ok so its more then likely in the soil. miracle grow is more for flowers and yard plants. the happy frog is good stuff i use fox farm ocean forest damn near the same thing as happy frog. maybe water that plant heavy one time to try and flush that soil a lil. you can remove those lower leaves

That will be the second time I would cut the leaves off. The first ones were like that as well (so I cut them off)

Okay and how did that guy think its a male without it being in the flower stage just by seeing it was stretched?

males seem to grow faster and more stretched then females. but they will show pre flower when they hit maturity usually about a month old. look at where the main stem and node meet youll see a small "grass blade" there , when mature a male shows as a small pod on a stem more like an ace of spades. a female will show a small (pod attatched to the stem) with two white hairs protruding. just post pics if you see something and youll get answers

Because male plants stretch like crazy..in order for a male to pollinate a female it has to be taller then her or at least it tries to be taller..and males branching is weak. Easy way to find out if it's a male or female
