Topped, but where's the new growth?

So I topped my girl but its been 5 days and I don't see the 2 mains I was supposed to get... I haven't topped in years but I don't remember it taking so long for new growth to appear? What you see in the pic are the secondaries. Any advice? Thanks

those are the 2 mains right next to where you topped.the axial limbs become the meristems

Really? Good to know. I was expecting 2 new stems to come out the middle where I cut...
