Well Hitler, like the OP, would have us believe that at some time in his life, he was a leftist. In fact Hitler, like the politician he was, named his regime in such a way as to have history believe that it was socialist, while he went on privatizing everything the Weimar Republic had nationalized, while he spewed anticommunist rhetoric.

the genocide and torture was only possible because the population had been brainwashed to believe that "global elite bankers" had stolen their wealth from them.

It's actually just New Deal liberalism of the Keynesian persuasion. I'm not trying to insult that view, it is preferable to this protofascist wave which seems to have spread in your country too, even if to a much lesser extent than in the US. Strains of liberalism are all centrist.

centrism is not a bad place to be. either extreme can be undesirable

just need to get scale calebrated properly

Having two right wings is no political balance. Having had a witch-hunt to purge the US of communist sympathy didn't result in balance. I agree though, we are far to the right of center in our political atmosphere and a little centrism would be an improvement. Any movement to the left, whatever we call it, would be good.
