Top of plants curled and twisted, some yellow leaves, slow growth, veg stage

It's been 3.5 days since the transplant. The plants seem a little healthier. Since the transplant, I haven't seen any new yellow leaves and it looks like some of the curled leaves are becoming uncurled.

I actually have two strains. The ones with the orange ribbon are Mandarin Dream and the other ones are Sweet Tooth. The MD seems to be doing better, less yellowing and curling.

I gave the plants some nutrients today, I gave them some veg and micronutes at a light concentration (50ml/20L of each).

I tested the pH as well. Here are the results:
  • soil put into cup - about 7 pH
  • tap water - about 7 pH
  • nutrient solution - about 5.5 - 6 pH
We'll see how the plants respond to the nutrients, I hope they grow a bit and become healthier.
You'll probably want to get one of the meters that can continuously test, you want to mix your nutrient solution up with your water and end up with a PH between 6.0-6.5 in soil. Between 5.5-6.0 is a little more in range for hydroponics / coco growing. So if it's at that high end around 6 you might be okay, but below that you may want to consider buying some PH-up solution or titrating it up with some other method. I usually loosly follow a chart like the one below, though I grow in coco. I know organic soils will act as a buffer with PH to some degree so maybe it's worth a little more research what your PH sweet spots might be. good luck you should have a little forest on your hands in a little while.

UPDATE MAY 6
Things have been going well. The plants have been recovering nicely. Lots of new growth and the leaves have been looking good.

Something started to change 2 days ago. The leaves are starting to curl again. See the photos. And there appears to be signs of yellowing again.

I haven't changed anything. I gave them a bit of nutrient water a couple days ago, the same concentration as before. The pH of the nutrient water is about 6.

The curling seems to be almost entirely in the canopy area. I'd like to catch this before it gets worse.
