So i've done lots of BHO runs. Probably LBs of oil in the end. Recently i bought a Titanium coated non-stick scraper http://www.homedepot.com/p/Clauss-Acme-4-in-Nonstick-Flexible-Joint-Knife-18734/203805517?N=1xg1Zbobe#.UhEhpX-2-zk which seemed like a good idea until the moment when i used a brand new razor to remove the 30 or so grams of wax off of the scraper. The razor dug into the top layer of the scraper and mixed in fine non-stick coating pieces into the wax. I was so bummed i just tossed the glob. Then upon further inspection, EVERY metal putty knife and paint scraper that i could find for sale had a very thin almost unnoticeable layer of what i believe to be some kind of plastic to stop corrosion. I could scratch it with my nails and when rubbing metal to metal the coating is obvious.
What do you guys use for collecting big bho runs? Is there an alternative tool made out of glass or maybe a silicone? I'm not so jazzed up about this and have postponed any oil making until i resolve this pretty serious problem. Check it out if you don't believe me.
Any thoughts?
