Took my LED drivers out my tent.

So I have been dealing with heat issues in lower to upper 80s since I started using LED for the past year or so.

finally yesterday I took the step of wiring an extra 15’ of cable and mounting my LED drivers outside the tents and into the next room.

when I say wow what a difference it makes. I’m seeing almost up to a 10 degree difference in temps. I can’t believe I didn’t do it much sooner. I wasn’t thinking clearly. I was doing all kinds of stuff to try and lower the temps but this was literally the best solution. Without the drivers in the tents the lamps run super cool.

What led are you using?

I've been running the drivers for my MarsHydro TS3000 outside the tent since I got them. I can only imagine the heat issues I'd have had with that tent in a south facing room without those mounted there. I ended up moving the whole setup into a better location, but still have the drivers mounted on the wall a foot or so from my tent.

not really true as you still can get optimal in the 75-80 range. And I was getting lower to upper 80s and sometimes 90.

But the difference in the grow tells it all

yeah I felt so stupid because I always see people mount their drivers outside their tent but never thought to just do that myself lol
