Too Nute or not too Nute?

So far I've been having fun with this years grow everything has gone well.

Started with 3 plants. 2 males and 1 females which is in the pics.

My question is are added nutrients needed?

I mean that so far my girl is doing great. I transplanted into Fox Farms Happy Frog Potting Soil about a month ago. Before that my girl was in soil from my garden at home.

If the plant looks healthy and is growing fine are added nutrients needed?

I guess what i'm saying is that is adding nutrients to the water is just providing the plant with easily accessible and a "quick-fix" for its nutrient needs that the soil can't provide, right?

Would adding more nutrients do anything? I mean if the plant looks really healthy and you add nutrients, your really looking for the maximum uptake that your plants can handle without over doing it. So if the plant looks healthy then that means that everything is already available (nutrient wise) and nothing else is needed. :leaf:

Sorry just rambling, can't really figure out the words to say what i'm thinking.:weed:

Well from what I've learned lighter leaves means that there aren't enough nutrients available where as really dark green leaves means that there are too many nutrients available. My girl has the shade of green most comparable to the one you find on camouflage jacket schemes.

Here's a shitty camera phone pic for picture purposes. The third pic is from a month ago a few days after I transplanted into Happy Frog Soil and the other two are from today.

P.S. - Anybody know the N-P-K numbers for Happy Frog Potting Soil?
