Too much nitrogen or what?

Its been a eventful first grow and Im finally getting back on track! I dropped my plants, I had one suffer from what I think was a ph problem and now this. My plants look healthy to me overall but Im thinking they are too green (blue tint) and Im getting a bunch of new growth finallay but some of it has this border line burned look. I don't know maybe Im being over the top. I will be taking recent picks as soon as lights come back on because these were taken beforeIMG_00000025.jpgIMG_00000030.jpgIMG_00000035.jpgIMG_00000036.jpg THE DROP

Ussually that's a sign of nute burn, but those pics with led lights are not helpful, try to take with normal light and we could help better, question: soil or hydro? what's you ph and what nutes at what ppm's?

I am as soon as they come off they six hr nap in a couple minutes. Im using 390 ppm with a ph of 5.7 and the water temp is 69F with cutting edge solution nutes.

Well i don't think he's in soil looking at the pics, lol. ^---Looks like a bunch of chopped rockwool.

Nute burn usually shows on the tips. Just back the nutes off a little let them recover and slowly pump it back up. My first grow I over watered over nuted, pretty over did everything because I wanted the biggest fattest buds ever. lol <--Mistake number one.

Make your goal healthy girls. Remember that less is more and you'll be fine.

Yeah I messed up when I went by the nute chart and the thing is I didn't use full strength for my plant stage

Take this with a grain of salt. And hopefully someone with more experience can say I'm right or wrong.

I'd say that isn't nute burn but quite the opposite. Looks like lack thereof.

Did you start at 25% of the recommended dose? or was it less than that?
P.S. Pic one looks perfectly healthy to me. Pic 5 not so much

I started of with 50% of the nute dosage for rooted cutting per cutting edges nute chart which came out to 390ppm. Now Im at 720ppm. As I said I dropped them too so some of what you see maybe battle scars lol.

Maybe just wait it out for a day or two. It is pretty hard to kill a plant over night. Not saying it can't be done but I've neglected my fair share of ladies, usually they can recover... Unless your mid flower then your fucked, haha. Make your mistakes now and get them dialed before flowering. You don't want these kind of problems at that point. You'll sacrifice yield and quality.

You're growing in rockwool grow cubes, or the likes, so am I, now that I see them in natural light they don't look that bad, my plants are full grown and in flower stage now but I use 800+ ppm's for full grown plants, 390 maybe a bit low, try upping to 500, what nutes are you using? I know 5.7ph isn't far from 5.8 but I maintain 5.8, not sure it makes a big difference.

Well thats the other part of the story! When I dropped them I went ahead and put them into my 5 gal buckets so I wouldn't have to put them under that shock again. Im currently hand watering them with 480ppms until they get established enough to feed off the flood. My res is at 710 with a ph of 5.7 so I mix that with phd RO water to dilute it down to the 490-520 range.

Im using the 3 part Micro Grow and Bloom Cutting edge solution line with the plant amp, mag amp and uncle john additives.

Are you saying you have them in 5gal buckets filled with rockwool grow cubes, or am I missing something?

Yeah I do have them in 5 gal buckets filled with rockwool but before they were dropped I had them in 1 gallon pots filled with rockwool. I germinated in rockwool plugs then transplanted to 4 in cubes. After more growth I put them in 1 gallon pots. Shortly after I went to one gal pots they were dropped so I decided to go ahead and go to 5 gal so I didn't have to worry about stressing them again. They started to show growth about three days later. I started germination on sept 30. if all goes well Ill be in veg until at least the later part of Nov if not a little longer. I have 6 plants in a 5x9 tent so they have a little room to grow. will be training and scrogging.

My God man, seems to me that's a waste of grow cubes, I only use 1/2 gal pots filled with grow cubes and my plants grow to almost 3ft, no need for such big pots, but that's your decision, but to me not needed, here's a few pics of my WW 7 weeks 12/12 in 1/2 gal pots.

Looks real good man! Initially I was going with a 10x10 tent but the 5x9 ended up being more practical. I have the CAPS Monster ebb system and they come with 5gal buckets! I know Ill run out of space before use those pots anywhere close to capacity root zone wise but Im about 10k in right now and adjustments will have to come later. This is my first run on my own and a new setup all together so I have a lot of learning to do but Im getting there.

10k as in you spent $10,000 to get setup? On your first run? Damn I'm a cheap fucker, lol. I suppose over the course of learning I've spent a few $1,000.

By no means am I trying to talk shit. I just feel that is a whole lot of dough for a first run.

I'm sending some good karma and happy thoughts your way man. Hoping for a huge harvest your way. bongsmilie
