Too Much Light????

ok so i got 14 plants in i would say a super cropped sea of green short only 28 inch tall max about 2.5 weeks for first set to be done but i got a 4 foot by 6 foot space these plants are in and there is 5ooo watts of HID light above them it is not burning them or anything but am thinking i am over dueing this one any thoughts on this one people of the growing world.....in lumens it is 5 times 140000 equals 700000 lumens in a 24 square foot area which is 29,166.66 lumens per square foot.......

no such thing as too much light just too much heat. if no burn, no bleaching, and no excess heat build up you'll have some HUGE buds.

There are many factors that influence your plants ability to handle that much light. Genetics, temperature, co2. I've had plants that were under a 1000w MH and if the light was on more than 17 hours a day they would get incredible droopy. At 17 hours a day those plants still grew larger with tighter nodes than other plants on a longer light on schedule. If you can supplement everything else the plant needs to accept that much light then perhaps even add another light! Just watch your plants, they'll tell you if they are happy.

No such thing as to much light. Just keep an eye on your girls , sighns off heat stress.

Just make sure you got good extractor unit capable of doing the job. That's a lot of heat coming from that.

Watering is essential

Do you have any pics of your grow room ? I would like to see 5000W of light in that tight of a space. Show us.
