TOO MUCH LIGHT?? help, need to know...

I have 34- 14 inch plants in a 10x10x7.5 foot high room, no co2 and my temps r 83 at lit and 70 dark. I currently have 4000 watts on them. The plants are not burning or anything. I have decent ventilation, 8 inch vortex exhaust from a can and 4 inch intake(passive) I want to know if there is such thing as TOO MUCH LIGHT I wouldn't think so as long as they arent showing heat stress or burning, which they are not.

I am running 2 mh's and 2 hps' (1k) I was just using the 2 mh's for veg but I had an idea that using all 4 k's may speed up the growth for the last week of veg, no ill effects yet except for the 30 degrees (c) at lit that i'm getting, help me please, much appreciated... I would go back to just the mh's but if I get faster growth I will use the 4k's together.

so my 83 degrees is ok?? it fricken HOT in that room lol if it's too much lumens per sq/ft than the plants will just not use the excess and be okay?

83 degrees is prime.
as long as its not in the 90's
just spray water with a water bottle moisten the leaves a little.
unless you start seeing heat stress then you got a problem otherwise your good.

moisten the leaves? when? if i spray during light itll burn the piss outta the leaves... whats the point of moistening the leaves? does it somehow help with temps? im so confused

misting isn't very beneficial considering the risks it presents... burning leaves, mold, etc. sounds to me like you should be just fine at 83, but pictures of your room would help a lot.

and how far away are the lights from the plants is important if you cant get pictures

Uhhh...yeah don't do that during flowering...please. You don't wanna spray water on your buds. You're temps are fine man. Sounds like you got it dialed in.

Did you measure the light at the tops?

Check them and them climb on the roof and check that and tell me which is brighter? you or the lights? LOL

do not spray the leaves! sorry but thats a terrible idea, water magnifies light, you will hurt them if you do that.
Otherwise all sounds good, 83f is fine. keep it going and growing strong, you plan on using the mh during flower too?

my lights are different heights, my mh's are 24 inches away from canopy and since I just introduced the sodiums into the environment they ride at 40 inches
