Too Much light and/or Water is killing your THC?

Short version- My flowers hairs stay white, and I feel like the THC buzz isn't great.

I have a 1000 spider in a 5x5 1-ft from roof Res & Flood Table.

I flood a mixture of coco with a Hydroton base. (I'm thinking the res will mix & flow better trough rocks than coco, no?)

I have read this doesn't work. It's been a good and bad grow for various reasons-
Pump died, light crashed, table broke, dimmer started on fire. Frinckn' 3-Stooges I tell you.:wall:

I think I'm flooding too often, 4 times a day flowering, to keep them pretty saturated.

I'm also to lazy to wire a dimmer, so, I'm running full blast (in flower tent) but all I notice is the Res empties fast, so they are drinking more.

Is this article got it right? Was very interesting IMOHO. I'm wondering exactly how to flood and run the lights with coco?

Wtf?? How long have yours been staying white? They will all turn brown eventually, some plants just take longer than others, and some plants will continue growing new white hairs even while the older hairs die and turn brown.

“You can use rubbing alcohol or hydrogen peroxide, which will kill the hair follicle and make it fall out. Or you can just trim them off with scissors”.

ill be honest, I didn’t read any farther than this. I think you can disregard the article. This seems like a really bad piece of advice.

maybe your foxtailing? Some pics would help. Or genetics would be my guesses

Here's another gem of advice out of that article

And I quote
'Light is not required for autoflowers to grow. They do not need light to enter the blooming stage. The capacity of photoperiods to blossom, however, is dependent on the illumination. '
Lmfao. Hair follicles ? Plants don't need light to bloom if they're autoflowers? Gold.

Yeah I didn't proof read the whole thing, I did notice the"hair-cut" thing tho. I was doing it on a frickin phone, I read THIS article the day b4 and got mixed up-

The last harvest they never turned brown, maybe a slightly darker white, I scoped the trichomes and were almost all a dark amber. I always look at those to harvest, just wondered why they aren't browning?
