Too much CaliMAGic as buffer in Coconut Coir?

Hey guys, I recently made the mistake of adding a TBSP instead of the recommended TSP when buffering my coco. I realized my screw up after seedlings sprouted. :wall:

So I was wondering what are the possible side effects of CaliMagic O.D. in your coconut coir buffer? I looked around but couldn't find an answer, so one would be much appreciated!

Sounds like it will be just fine,worry more about how clean your coco is(washed) multiple times to rid of salts...

Glad to help. When you know coco bricks are good. Some folks can only get bricks, and if one needs big quantities bricks are probably the best bang for buck.

Coco is awesome but watch out for overwatering until roots are established and if you didnt end up charging it enough and they start turning yellow, just foliar feed with Epsom salt to green them up. Been growing in coco for years and love it

Is there a certain brand of Epsom salt in particular that you prefer to use? An Amazon link would be great if you have one! Also, how frequently do you apply it?

It doesnt matter just any magnesium sulfate. I do a quarter teaspoon per quart and soak top and bottom of leaves then wait a few days and see how green they are. Once the coco has nutes stored its like set and forget no ph or nute problems and green leaves all the way through. 5.7 to 6.2 ph is good the coco buffers itself as long as you keep the ph there.
