too many leaves!

can i cut some of my leaves off to allow more light to get to my bud sites? i have fan leaves blocking some spots where i topped, and lst'd a week ago

i try not to cut leafs since thats how the plants gets light. if you were to just trim the leafs like people do when cloning would that do the trick ? you can cut the leafs if you gotta but if its kinda a personal call.

I always cut my leaves, but I usually do it when they are smaller, I cut the baby leaves off and it makes the plant get way bigger. But idk if that will work in your case; or you could probably just pluck off some of the blades off the leaves, some ppl do that so it will look like a different plant too lol.

does it really matter? should i cut or just let grow, its been growing fine the way its been but im looking for dense big buds

the fan leaves are there to a. capture sunlight b. protect the forming buds and shade them from too much sun

me and my father have been growing over 30 years combined and we always take of all the fan leaves on the main stem of the plant and every other third one on the other branches...
