So flowering hasn't really started yet but I have two plants in 7 gallon fabric pots that have pretty much maxed out in size. Is there any benefit now if I try and up them to 15-20 gallon pots? I'm watering every couple days and one seems more droopy lately, so it made me wonder if the smaller pot size is having a negative effect.
They're fabric so shouldn't be root bound. Perhaps the pots are just getting too warm in the direct sun?
IfI do transplant I think being fabric I can just put the right in the new pots and add soil without removing them.
Is there any point in doing this now? Will I see any benefit even if just in flower? Or would it just be a waste of time?
*Another option is to move them into the yard from my deck and let the root work down into the ground.
