Too late to top?

Hey All!,
Is there a timeframe when it’s too late to top a photoperiod?
She’s about a month or so old and I finally have room in my tent. (I’m still new and trying new things, and know that it should have been flipped a while ago)
I thought about topping aggressively, maybe 50%, scrog and let her veg to fill the net, then flip.
Whatcha think?

No unless you have a full spectrum light I think, if you have separate bulbs or lights then you can veg as long as you want. Also even if you have which ever kind of lights a month is probably still vegging. But, plants can grow fast some people grow a full plant in 3 months seed to harvest. In fact that’s around the expected time frame or less even like 84 days

I top all through veg on all my plants, basically once I set a foundation for main branches, I let those grow and about every week I will top any dominant heads and gently bend branches outwards and pull them down so they widen out naturally. Once they go into flower I "lollipop" aka strip any auxiliary branches up to the 2nd-3rd node of each branch tip, this will allow all dominant buds to grow through flower and prevent you from dealing with lots of scraggly buds and literally naturally almost dormant inferior buds.

Just imagine a tabletop and take any heads that are clearly outgrowing the other branches and top them. Makes it a lot less technical and once you send them into flower they will grow a lot more proportionally.

TO learn more on why this works look into Auxin. Once you learn about it, trees and everything won't look the same again lol.

Apical Dominance
The tallest point of the plant is called the apex and produces Auxin in abundance. The Auxin moves down and laterally and keeps lower buds dormant: this phenomenon is called apical dominance. Many growers will prune their plants back, temporarily halting apical dominance and allowing the plant to branch out and become more bushy.
