Too late to top?

I wanna stunt the growth of my top 2 colas as I need roughly a week to get my flower tent together which is fine as want to veg another week anyway. Can I cut the two growths or is it too late?

Does it work like that or wont it just keep growing but tied down. I kind of want my other branches and what not to catch up for about a week
Yeah, that's what LST is as well. I mean you can top, I would probably give a plant 2 weeks to recover from topping before flipping, but that's just me. When you tie down both of their branches to where their tops are below or close to your other tops you want to grow then they will lose apical dominance and the plant will start growing the other tops taller as well.

I'll look into that as it's nearly lights out and I was gonna wait till they come back on to do it, so I'm gonna sit on it for a few hours

If it is in veg, lights out time doesn't matter much. Keep them on and do it, and turn them off when done. We veg for 18 hours because according to most research, the plants are only capable of utilizing the light for roughly 17ish hours a day. Running them for 24 doesn't hurt anything really (although some say they want to rest) it just wastes electricity.

As far as LST goes, it is less stressful on the plant than topping, there is very little if any recovery time and breaking apical dominance, as stated earlier, thank you @dbz, will produce more, larger colas. I like to lst young, and all the way to harvest. Only LST on this girl.
