Too late to tie down?

I have two small girls and kind of want to tie one down to see what yield difference I can get from it compared to the one I dont tie down. There both about 16 inches tall. No flowering going on yet, just some pre flowers. Thoughts?

Go ahead and tie down now. I tied down at first oppurtunity. you can refer to the link in my sig to see how I did it. LST helps max light efficiency as well as take up less room.

its never to late, if you get alot of resistance and are worried it will break, stop there tie it down and do it a bit further the next day...i love lst! use slipknots to make adjustments easier for you

I have been tying down my plants as soon as I see them shoot up in veg. From my understanding that this is the time that the plant is growing it's leaves and root system to help sustain it through the flowering. What I've been using the tie down as well as pruning to get more leaves and stems down towards the bottom creating a fat and short plant. Mainly it's been the FIM method, which is clipping the first leaves comming up out of the top of the plant. It should split and grow two shoots where you first clipped. Good luck, remember, Grow for fun, grow for pleasure, damnit just don't tell anyone.
