i tied mine down with kite string tied to thumb tacs stuck into the plastic part of the pots i tied it down second node from the top start easy with it only bend it like 45 degree angle then slowly increase the one i tied down id now running horizontal with the light its been a few weeks and now she has like bic lighter sized buds all down the horizontal part

I tie mine down alot and I NEVER use any medium that will eventually cut into the stalk. Meaning kite string. I always use like yarn or something that won't saw into it. I'm saying this from experience please don't use kite string, floss, string of any kind. Use something fatter.

might want to tie it down in two steps. one tie at the mid point to bend it, and then another towards the top so as not to have all the stress on the top part of plant.

I know what you mean, that's cool. I was freakin thinking you were using that little thin shit. Don't want anyone to cut into their plants:bigjoint:

looks sick

i see how this could give me better yield

and actually by tying it down i was able to clip a light fixture to the side of the actual pot itself without it being that close. looks sexi

if you rig up a reflector you would increas your lights effectiveness by atleast 25% your losing a crap load of light off the back. If money is a fact save your empty chip bags becuase they are just about the same as mylar. Make sure to clean the bags before using tho as salt and other chip flavor additives wont make the weed taste like cheeto's itll just harm it.

actually thats only 1 of the lights and i have 6..and it does have a reflector behind it, check out this pic. the door of the cabinet way to the right (with the little yellow thumbtack in it), that little white piece on the door goes right behind that light you're talking about when it's closed and reflects it right on the plant, i only put it there to get a little bit of light to the spots the other 5 dont really get to

thanks tho
