So i just got settled into a new home in the western US, and i was just curious if you guys thought it would be too late to start an outdoor grow? I have plans to go out of town this friday until next week thursday, so i could plant them right before i leave and hope for rain while I'm gone. I know it's not the most failsafe plan, but i'd really like to try this, I'm 1000 miles from home and have no bud at all. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

Sorry about the no bud thing.
I am no expert but seems to me you could take a run at an outdoor grow in containers and if you don't make it you could bring em in for the flowering.
I think you would have a better chance if you had some clones or an auomatic AK strain.

yeah, from looking around the site it seems I'd be lookin at late august when they start flowering? i decided to plant a few today anyways, just as a test to see what i'd get, i learn more by doing than reading anyway. But i'm also looking into building a growbox for my closet, just gotta get a supplies list and solidify a blueprint.
Thanks for the condolences. I saw the one guerilla grow of the person doing em in the pots off their property and i thought i COULD do it that way, but i still live with my parents so i'm going to have to stay small until i can get a permanent outdoor solution. As i stated above, i threw a few down as a test to see what kind of work i'd have to do with the soil but by next spring i'll have ordered some decent seeds and will have a full blown garden somewhere on our 40 acres. Until then i just hope i can get some decent results from a growbox, i'm lookin at about 2x2x3 feet, hopefully just enough for personal to last me. I don't need to smoke every day, but when i do want to smoke i'd like to be able to haha.growlegal said:
