Too late for outdoor?

ill tell you what you should do A get small kiddie pool like 1 ft deep 5$ (B two bags of sunshine mix number 4.80$) drill with med size bit 2 punch holes all over the bottom of the pool(priceless) go 2 your local mmj shop and buy 50-60 large clones. probly about 25-40$ each wet soil down a little and plant . should produce a pound or maybe 2. like a mini sog sorta. no neede 2 worry about plants growing into each other it will grow all 2 gether like a jungle , i have never done this before but it just came 2 mind and would be easy and nice 2 grow your own dank good luck man, the thing is when you get a fresh clone its ready 2 grow and ushally will grow right after you transplant if ur carefull enough

actually i was thinking of doing this myself now as well. putting them in a greenhouse in early sept (i'm in socal btw)...it'd be a nice size greenhouse, not totally rectangle as it would start off 11' wide and go to 24' wide but be bout 50' long. anyway, i'd be vegging some clones indoors for the next month and then they'd get hopefully 2-3 weeks of veg outdoor before flowering.

you are all saying "low yields" and of course you're talking outdoor yields where if they were outdoor from april they'd be massive plants (depending on the strain of course) capable of yielding multiple, multiple LB's each....so what is your "low yield" you speak of. if i have some purple kush, hog's breath x sour D, maybe some la conf, perhaps a few others, totaling at least 100 plants maybe a lot more in a greenhouse like that...i mean hell vegging indoor for a month thye'll be good size to start with....i'll be giving them all advanced nutes lineup in the greenhouse.

i'm not looking to get 4lbs a plant here but hell even indoor vegging for a month i can pull down huge amounts on those under just HID's....which is nothing compared to the all mighty sun.

id say go for it if its your first time, this is my first time and i plan on growing it from time i planted it like 3-4 days ago untill bout end sept and then bring it indoors for flowring to see what i get for my first grow then next season start on time. I planted my seed like 3 or 4 days ago after germing for 3 days and it alrdy almost 1 1/2 inch out soil so i hope i can get it decent size before id have to bring it in but i live in upper midwest so coldness might not let me still gonna try going to give it nutes in bout week & a half.

it is outdoor....not a controlled lighting greenhouse or anything. not climate controlled. they're just enclosed so no one can see them. therefore they go on the same lighting schedule as plants just literally put in your backyard....

Yeah, you'll definitely get a small harvest, it just depends how much it grows before 12/12. If it's 6 in, expect not much more than a gram, if it's a foot, expect anywhere from an eighth to a half o if you fucking are a weed god

green house or not the plants need air!

any ways i still like the kidde pool idea the plants could possibly get 2 ft tall with massive one oz buds haha i wish

mine are already cloned and vegging. after a month in veg indoors i can have rather large plants, a couple feet at least before stretching in flowering. i know what i can expect indoor as i've been doing it about 10 years. however, this is my first outdoor, even in a greenhouse...i do know you can't be sunlight though so if it's better light with the same nutrients and proper conditions in the greenhouse (it won't be climate controlled with A/C there will be huge fans moving a couple thousand CFM minimum) i can't imagine why i wouldn't be able to expect the same result or better from indoor with just HID's, that again, aren't nearly as good as the sun....i could be totally wrong as it is my first outdoor grow....i'm just going off of a purely theorectical POV....from a plant that big after that much veg indoor i can easily pull down 1/2LB on it if it's a nice yielding strain, at least 6oz if it's a bit of a low yielder

anyway just curious from all you guys who've done outdoor before....just makes sense if it's all the same or better conditions (minus A/C but it won't need that, just the fans)...i should expect at minimum what i know i could get indoors...

if not plz explain, don't just say "no you're wrong" that's not productive.

that is the dumbest thing i have ever heard you are a moron. have u ever seen single plant CFL grows? you flower at around 6 inches with 4 sets of leaves and with the right amount of lumens can easily pull 2 oz+. now if you can't do better than that using the fucking SUN than you suck balls. maybe YOU might get a gram off a plant that starts flowering at 6 inches but the majority of people will not. and if it's a foot when it starts flowering and you think you're only going to get an eighth off it or a half oz you must not be talking about the sun. that's what you would pull off a really shitty indoor plant. i mean a REALLY REALLY shitty indoor plant with a terrible setup.

So just Simply potting/bucketing clones would produce a bunch of smaller plants? Is this because of just putting it in a 12/12 cycle? That would be cool to just have a bunch of mini plants for a late season harvest!!! any thought?

solstice is Dec 21st(shortest daylight) and June 21st(longest daylight....If the dude grew in a greenhouse to avoid frost in most states by end of October, he could grow a respectable plant...

I got a couple GOD BUDS, and White Russians at week 2 looking good right now!

from a plant that went into flower at 6 inches!!!! not from a 6 inch plant. thats absolutely NOT what we were talking about. read before you post. and i dont know if you know this but a real nice guy named seemorebuds wrote a whole frickin book about it. if im not mistaken he posts on here. that plant was flowered at like 5 inches tall and yielded 3 oz dry with only CFL light

Is this no longer the outdoor thread?

the point being if you can get those kinds of results from just a CFL you should do much better with the sun. that was what i stated in the first post.
