TOO Intense of light?? Taco-ing

Iv been doing some research on taco-ing and read the first post here about moisture and stress. I just want to make sure im not missing something else going on.

I can not get my ph to stay down around 5.5 -5.8, I have been adding SO much ph down (concentrate powder) i just said screw it and now its stayed at 6.2-6.3 for the last couple days. WHY WOULD THIS BE?

Also I have been adding about 700ml of 34% h202 to the system every other day? anyone use straight 34%

System - rdwc
PPM - 600
PH- 6.2
Water Temp - 63
c02 PPM -stays between 1670-1400 during lights (I do not vent my room at all) 100% sealed
Air Temp D-82
Air Temp N- 78
RH D- 50%
RH N- 62%-70%

photo.jpg The leaves are almost making a "O" and then if you can see they are making a weird curve right for the light
Do you guys think this is caused by TOO intense of light?? Or is there something else going on here?

get a fan blow it on top of the plants ... it looks like your using a hps or mh bulb yes lift it up a bit when the leaves curl like that the light is to close, and for your ph your on the money if its in the soil 60. 65 soil hydro 5.o 5.5

whats the best way to get good airflow around the room without blasting the ones that are close to the fans? I have ten 18" fans blowing 6 on the walls and 4 under the canopy

hang a fan from the light ? a clip on fan . or get another fan if possible or just back off light. what light are you using?

Raised lights last night, it's been 24 hours and I see no change from raising the lights. I really need some help here!!!!

sounds like you actually have too many fans running.

oscillating fans on intermittent timers and thermally favored air flow. Hot air rises, use it to your advantage, try picturing a smoke trail moving through the grow space as it moves from the intakes to the exhaust.

if you air temp stays under 85 I doubt the issue is just a matter of too hot, Most certainly not too much light.
I'm guessing that your plant root systems are not capable of sustaining a high rate of photosynthesis.At those levels your probably wasting CO2 since its not whats limiting your grow (fresh air has lots of CO2)

Are your roots healthy and vibrant ?
How big is your reservoir ? How often do you flow ?
Do the roots have enough O2 all the time?

thanks for the response....

each plant has its own 22gal tote filled with about 18 gal of water, each have their own airstone with (2) 110w airpump

roots are huge and look pretty healthy, not as white as id like , i run alot of h202 34% every other day or so

oh all together my system holds close to 300gal and is constantly flowing with a 3800gph water pump.

hopefully i figure this out its starting to scare me

i dunno then My experience is ebb&flow in slab trays. I never use peroxide and never have root issues. If your constantly flowing why do you need air pumps?
The only hydro that I know that does REALLY well with constantly submerged roots is lettuce.

Looks like your leaves are curling because of constant transpiration, try misting them with RO water and see if that flattens them out any.

HEY!!!! I HAD THE SAME PROBLEM WITH MY White WIDOwS I was going crazy trying to figure it out... thought it was the lights also... Anyways IT looks like a MAG diff.... Give them Epsom salts... Or cal mag if u have it.. I usually use the epsomsalts... Trust me that is your problem... as soon as I fed them the Epsom salts it only took a few days and they went back to normal...Anyway what strain is it ur growing?? is it White widow? Libertyhaze?? I had the problem wit both strains.. Hope it helps u... cant hurt them anyways..

Yes it could be a Mag problem. I suggest getting back to what you originally described as a known issue. pH staying high despite large amounts of pH down. Depending on what pH down your using it could be causing problems, or this could be symptomatic of another issue, perhaps too high of a nitrate/NH4 ratio?

I suggest reviewing your nutes, and water source.

Put some sort of exhaust high off the ground above your plants. Something like this:

You can put it on a timer or thermostat control. Get some sort of clip on fan blowing across the bottom of your lights so it will cool them. You can get a small one at WalMart for under $10 and hang it from the ceiling if you have to. And finally get an oscillating fan you keep on the ground to help with over-all airflow.
