Guy's need a little help,

Growing lowryders at the min, 6 sprouted from ten , 3 males and have 3 females all about 7 inch's in height and 6-7 days into flowering, they have started to droping a little as in leaves turning downwards. I put this down to the light being only 7 inch's from them and overheating it's a 250 watt hps, so I moved it up to 14 inch's away is this the correct height , they have since perked up a little.

Thanks guy's.

Link to the grow below if you wanna look.

well if it was heat stress the leaves wouldnt droop, the leaves would perk up and curl upwards at the sides,,,,perhaps its under or overwatering,,,,,maybe there hungry,,,have you been keeping a eye on the ph?are the pots big enough?

i would go 1 foot for 250 hps, try to go an " lower every day or two if you can.
get a fan blowing inbertween the light and top of the plants, blowing away so it dont get too hot.
try to get as close as you can, with out burning the plants.

if you have a fan blowing over the tops of your plants, maybe even if you dont 7 inches away should be ok,,,,i have a 400watter about 9 inches above mine.

I have them in about 1 and a half litre pots, there lowryder 2 so i think that should be ok for them, I have a fan on the side blowing accross them, Before I water I check the soil and see if it's dry etc. Haven't got a PH reader (My bad), I've been feeding BioBiz flowering formula about one feeding a week as I didn't want to over do it, none of my leaves are really yellow. Pics on the journal if you want to judge for yourself. Some people say to keep lights at least 15 inch's away others say get them down as low as you can 7-10 inch's???

Thanks for the help.

Thanks for the help guy's.

well it could be the ph is wrong but i think ya plants might need bigger pots,,not massively bigger but if ya plants are root bound things will get worse,,,i know lowryder grows very short but i think 3-5 litre pots would help um.....other than that it sounds like your doing everything right.peace.
