the only problem with growing from seed is that until about 6-8 weeks, they are sexually immature... if you switch it to 12/12 light now, im sure youll be fine. it will still take about two weeks for it to actually convert to its flowering cycle. using a bloom nutrient with a higher potassium content than nitrogen (all bloom nutes are set that way) will help it make the transition easier. best of luck

what would be better for blossom 10-30-20? or 20-20-20? also with that how often should i feed the plant? when it was younger i was giving it 30-10-10.

for bloom i like 1-5-2.. thats just kind of how dyna-gro is set up if you use the bloom, mag-pro and pro-tekt..i dont go very high on nutes.. your ratios with those would still be 1-3-2 or 2-2-2... continuing using your current set up, id go the one with the 1-3-2 setup..

your plant looks good and healthy, but I believe It is small because the light you are using is not that great. its a flourescent so you want it as close to the plant as possible ( 1 or 2 inches). But with flourescent lights, the light severly diminishes after a few inches. So basically only the top few inches of the plant will produce anything.....

no..its not too early for 12/12. up pot into 3 gal if necessary. they stretch a lot. and they're very hungry. and thirsty. i use co2 enrichment to make em even bigger. make sure you use a feeding schedule. if you can't find one lemme know. get a ph meter. make sure ur around 6.8 or a little under. um...i'm smokin WW atm and i can't think of anything else...so keep in touch

you won't get a good yield if you flower a tiny plant. that's why i wait until the plant is bigger. you will have to get a light for flowering and like danny said a real planter (i agree 3gallon is a good size for a smaller plant), u need nutrients and that's it. dont overwater.

it's never to early to go 12/12, you can do it from seed. It all really depends on how much room you have to grow. You will probably want to invest in some CFL to hang around the sides of the plant so the bottoms of the plant get some light and produce some bud as well. Just remember, your plant with double at the least when you flip it to 12/12 so just plan ahead and make sure you have room.

Some people will tell you that you need to wait for the plant to show pre-flowers before switching, or that it needs to have a certain amount of nodes or what ever. Just plan for the space you have. Each persons grow is different from everyone else's. What works for other people might not work for you.
