Too damn early to harvest?

Hi all, first post. Short story:
I picked up 3 small cloned plants from a local dispensary. I've had them for about a month, tallest one is only maybe 8 inches tall. They've all decided to flower. My guess is that they had long hours of light at the dispensary and when I started growing them outside with 5+ hours of direct sunlight, my girls thought it was flowering time.

I'm seeing some milky trichomes, does it mean I'll have to harvest soon? Also, any way to re-veg such a small plant?

You can reveg right now if you want.

Reveged growth always looks really weird mind you. There'll be round leaves with no serration. Possibly even curly. And they'll likely only be single leaves. Growth will start right out the buds.

Keep in mind. I don't think the buds that have already formed will be viable by the time you've flipped back to flowering light cycle.

Are the current flowers on there useable? I'd like to let the flowers finish before attempting to re-veg. Can cuttings be taken from such a small plant?

You could cut the buds now if you don't mind "heady" smoke. The more milky trichomes there are. The better the potency of it. Amber is where they start to lose potency. And clear is basically not worth smoking.

If you were to run these plants through vegetation cycle for another couple months to gain mass. Then flip them back for a month or however long they take to finish. You're almost garunteed a considerably larger yield. To the point where you may not even care about the buds you left on, come harvest time.
