Tomato Row box design & spacing

Hey all,

Anyone have any experience with growing tomato rows? Which of the options would be best for output, airflow and disease control?

We were considering the following but again would like input as these beds haven't been constructed yet. These are going to be trellised with either a top line or Florida weave, which should allow a plant every 12-18 inches in the row.

Option 1: 2 rows of tomatoes inside a 4'x16' bed
Option 2: 1 row of tomatoes inside a 4'x'16' bed
Option 3: 1 row of tomatoes inside a 3'x'16' bed
Option 4: 1 row of tomatoes for a 2'x16' bed

These would be watered with 2 drip lines that have holes every 18", and covered with woven weed barrier.

Option 1 is best..... just my opinion.

Yes we actually don't want to build another row if it can be avoided

I do 2 rows in my 4x12 boxes for what it's worth

Do you offset the tomato's, in each row?
