I do not toke and drive, but that is my preference. I'd rather enjoy my time with euphoria then be stressed out by idiot drivers. I treat weed like beer. If I have been recently smoking, I'm not going to drive. In my opinion, it is too easy to become distracted. I do believe it is safer than using a cell phone and driving, I just think that driving a 2-3 ton vehicle on public roads should be done with the utmost mental alertness. I don't want to be on the road with a stoner, so I make sure I return the favor to other drivers.

It confirms what I already believed but I agree with Serapis, driving should be done with a clear mind.

That argument wouldn't hold up in court for an accident.

Id rather be around a 100 stoned drivers then 1 drunk jack ass........

^^^ Same! Drunk driving is the dumbest shit ever.

I don't drive if I'm ripped off my ass but I definitely know if I'm good or not.

Thats kinda fucked up. Cause i am currently without my licince because of smoking and driving, for the next 5+ months i cant drive.

Driving down the road and I was going a little fast, they pulled me over for like 5 over and smelled the bud in the car because I had been smoking beforehand in it. Then I got arrested and spent 5 days in jail, the most fucked up thing though was I had an appointment to go see a doctor to get my med card later that day that I couldnt go to cause I was locked up. Later on I went and acctually got it but I still cant smoke for 2 years cause im on probation and have to test every week.

I use to toke and drive way back at the end of high school with no problems at all. Well a few times I looked at the speedometer and had to speed up. LOL

- Many years later -

Was hauling my boat out to the lake last year (10 min drive) after smoking, got to the ramp and thought, "How the hell am I going to get this in the water?" If I'm thinking this something isn't right. Turned around and went home. Good decision to go home. Stupid decision to even hook the boat up in the first place.
