ya sorry bout Isabell her turned out hermie so im starting fresh with some seeds i ordered called big bang, http://www.sensibleseeds.com/products.php?cat=seeds&subcat=Greenhouse-(5pk-fem)

Breeding:skunk, northern-lights, el-nino.

and I ordered Marijuana Buds for Less by Seemorebuds, which is a day by day step by step process of how you can get at least 2 oz. of green off one plant for under 100 dollars growing with cfls. Their plant yielded/harvested just over 3 oz of smoke in 75 days.

yo dont get that book its garbage. everything in there u should know by now plus its a fake. u should pick up a growers bible instead trust me. my buddy got that book and tried it but no cigar. plus it tells u to use miracle grow soil which is one of the worst soils to use when growing marijuana. any real cropper will tellu that miracle grow is the weakest shit u can use plus the add on nutes it claims to have in the soil is pure garbage i know a couple of newbies that tryed miracle grow just cuz its cheap and the qualty was not even worth smoking.not mentioned the poor yeild. it was some of the nastiest bud i;ve ever tried, but if u want try it and post it here and see if i'm right. just trying to save u some time. good luck

woke up not to long ago i cant believe how fast this thing is growing compared to my last grow i guess its because im running 6 42 watt cfls (16200 lumens) instead of just 2. I watered it 2 quarts yesterday thats the most the plant has gotten since I germinated it. its in a 3 gallon pot so i know i didnt over water it. but anyways any questions comments or whatever welcome!

Man if you get an HPS bulb, a 150w would have ridiculously faster growth with much, much, much bigger, denser buds, even 2 or 3 75w HPS would be better, or some 50w HPS lights to keep down on heat.

In any case you can't even begin to compare HID results to CFLs. You get a much wider overall spectrum as well with the HPS.

Yeah, dont waste your money on books man, you can learn everything, and more then you need to know on RIU by just searching the forums, the problem is every plant/strain is different, every climate is differant. Your better off reading some basic grow guides, watch a couple youtube vids, once you know the basics from seed to dry weed, then start learning about different styles of growing, even if you continue with what you do, learning about all the different styles of growing will greatly add to your overall knowledge of growing.

When it comes to growing everyone has their own opinion, so you really gotta pick through all the crap, and after a while you notice common things between everyones opinions and you start to form your own. But honestly, dont ever spend money on something that claims to tell you how to grow a guaranteed amount of weed, its just BS.

Yea man I don't know what I am doing right but seems like I am doing better than my last grow.

O.K. Here is what I started out with

3 Gallon Bucket
Miracle Grow Potting Soil
Perlite
6 CFL's (42 watt= 150watt 2700 lumens a piece)
