Well guys I plan on having a really great, beautiful day today, relaxing and frying my ass of (in multiple ways) in wonderful Cancun. I don't really plan on updating anything until way later, as I just dropped (5 WoW) and don't really plan on coming back to the room. But I did want to share with you all wish some of you were here with me

I already speak Spanish and holy hell guys I am fucking flying right now. just stopped back in the room to rinse off all the salt and sand. I was kayaking when it kicked in. holy hell.

wow guys, just wow. today was absolutely amazing. I managed not to get sunburnt while incredibly fucked up and had (sadly because of all the beauty I was around) some of the best closed eye visuals I have ever had. water lapping on the shore in 1-3 feet of waveless water, the most incredible shades and colors of blue, green, teal, and purple, some of the BEST (and im like rory many times I have eaten more than 1mg) fractal patterning I have ever seen in my life with the waves, sand, the thatched roofing of the palapas, hanging out with my wife (also my sober babysitter, she doesn't partake) I couldn't have asked for anything better. after all the hard work I have put in this year- it sure fucking paid off. this is the second time I have tripped here, the first was my first time here 16 years ago (holy shit i just realized that was a long time ago). and this just crushes that first time beyond belief. after the sun went down we went downtown with my friends that live here to the local dias de los muertos festival and (i don't believe in god) but my god what a fucking incredible ass amazing day. i will add some "day of the dead" photos later to show you what i mean, but damn, just DAMN WHAT AN AMAZING DAY. I will update some more later if anyone is interested- but damn, all in all this was just amazing and I couldn't have dreamed up a better experience. I highly recommend any of you to do the same. so. . .thank you to my wife, honey i love you for taking care of me today and filling in the gaps when i couldn't get the words out, and thank you to mexico.

That wow is allways a fun time..glad you got there man...I'm saving up this next year to go to rome..its a pipedream,but its a dream..have a great rest of your vacation!!

thanks man! and rome can be quite an expensive trip, but a dream is a dream, and you should make it happen (what is life really if we don't fulfill our dreams rory?). tripping at the trevi fountain??? oh man come on, how freaking awesome. or you could sit on the Spanish steps on a bunch of wow. that would be great.

also this board doesn't have a travel section anywhere (sad, i know) but if anyone here wants or needs cancun travel advice, i can most certainly assure you I AM the go to guy on this site for advice. I usually stay with my "brother" down here at his house as opposed to staying in the resorts but for the wife's first time i thought a resort appropriate, since at my buddies house they don't have hot drinkable water or AC. but seriously, i KNOW the city. if any of you ever come down here and have questions about anything, (where to go, what to eat(real REAL Mexican food), authentic local experiences, things to do, how not to get ripped off, seriously anything- i can answer it. this place is my home, i have been traveling here and living with the locals in their homes for years. i have lots of friends down here and probably a bigger support network than in the states, so seriously if you are coming here and want an authentic experience, i would be more than happy to help. not to forget, i am beyond happy that i got to trip here today. WOW rory duck and skuxx this is something we all should do together one day, as it was seriously one of the best days of my life. this one goes down in history.
