I had an encounter with the virus and was able to keep it at bay and get normal yields using RNA Pro. Its hella expensive but it works. I came out ahead. My friend i got the clones from didnt believe he his plants had the virus and wasn't about to pay to treat them. He got about half his normal yield. After my last run I cleaned everything and got new genetics. No prob now :-o

TMV has been around forever. I don't think that it is a major issue with cannabis. A healthy cannabis plant can overcome just about anything. An unhealthy plant is an easy victim to numerous problems. I have a hard time believing that TMV is a major threat to cannabis.

Cannabis CANNOT and WILL NOT get support or transfer TMV. Its impossible.. take it to the bank.
Generally newbies encounter yellowing, spotting or necrosis in the fan leaves, do a google search and find TMV LOOKS like it so it must BE the root cause. Negative. Smoke around your plants, touch them with nicotine hands... doesn't matter.
I would seriously start looking into Toxic salt build up. Your first step should be to flush your plant FULLY. If its in a 3 gallon pot.. give it 9 gallons of water slowly. let the run off go from yellow pee color to clear, repot in new mix.
Always repot as you want fresh neutral soiless mix to suck up any extra run out and to down the EC content or PH level.
Many other more viable routes to your problem then TMV... the sky isnt falling.
If you are scared you will lose lineage... give it a high nitrogen boost and clone tops in 3 days to try and save at least 1-2.

People are quick to jump on the bandwagon for tmv. There are so many deficiencies and other things that can cause a plant to look like that.

And why is it in years past no one blamed tmv for normal issues, and suddenly it's the trendy new thing to pin any abnormalities on?

pretty good scare tatic LEO can take advantage on, no cure and possible infections can happen. how many people you think have killed thier whole grow over this lie? i would say quite a bit.
