to vaporize or not to vaporize

well basically a vap is a device that heats the pot to the correct temperature (by passing it through some sort of heating element) that is at the exact temperature that thc sublimates (goes from sold to gas) this is perfect becasue you are getting much higher %s of thc and not recieving all of the tar that you get when pipe or bong smoking. they are great and I love mine. i just dont use it enough.

I dont know how this compares to a REAL vap like a volcano... BUt i tried this and it worked ok, it was somthing new...i enjoyed making it....but.. if u do this... dont let somone walk in on you smoking it...they might think your smoking crack.....

ive never used a vapourizer, i dont think youd catch much people in my country with one of those. Its all just bongs, buckies, cannies, spots, spliffs, joints, lungs. all the totally mobile shit u can make in a minute or two. Dosn't a vapourizor just burn it and propell the smoke so you dont have to do anything, that takes the fun out of one hitting a cone in a bong and popping it lol

Once I went with Vapor I have never wanted to smoke with fire again. Your stash lasts longer because you don't have to put as much in it as you would with a bong or pipe. Plus, you get a much cleaner high. If set at the correct temp. you only inhale the THC vapor and none of the plant matter that can be harmfull to your lungs. I have the vaporbrothers vaporizer, and it is amazing. Best bang for your buck hands down, only $160-180. Make sure you get the hands free on. I was pissed because they came out with it after I bought mine, It's still all good though.

hey yall i use and love my vap. i got the plans for it online and it was easy and more importantly cheap to make. it takes a lil fine tuneing to get it perfect, but nothing that a dime bag and a few hours wont fix. id love to get a nice vap. but ima tight wad, and im happy enough with what ive got. if any of yall have tried this home made vap. and used 1 of the nicer vaps. let me know how they compair.

Ive used several types of vaporizers; the simple box kinds, and the volcano type with the bag. All of them ive tried are great. Another alternative you might like uses any regular bong. All you need is a certain bowl which is over sized, about 2 inches tall and an 1 1/2 inch wide i believe and a heat gun like this... Ryobi Heat Gun - $39.97 at Home Depot

The top of the bowl is the same size as the heat gun, all you do is let the gun warm up, then put the end into the bowl and take a good bong rip. The bowl cost about $15 at my local headshop and the gun is $30-40. Be careful the first time you smoke it tho, dont fill the bong up with too much smoke, or you might be coughing for a while like i did the first time i tried it. but that was probably the highest i have ever been.

I used the lightbulb vap before.. it SUCKED... Burned my throat and wasted weed. I dont know if I'd even buy a professional vap...I turned it into a nice bubbler..

I tried a cheap vap I bought off Ebay. It sucked. It was horrible. A good waste of pot. Took a good while to get that ass taste out of my mouth. Would like to try a good vap but not willing to part with the money after that experience.

yeah I will agree Mogie. I don't know if I would either... Maybe if someone I smoke with had one and I liked it then I might consider buying one...

You also need to keep in mind this: You're smoking THC not all the other stuff you're used to. I read a lot of articles before I made mine and they said it's an aquired taste I got a little buzz from it but I wasn't using much weed and was affraid to incase it didn't work. It just made me cough non stop

Pop a couple E pills before you smoke and you will be trying to poke through green bowls even when you are exhaling a completely white cloud of smoke trust me ive done it numerous times. Now thats what I call lung power.

i just bought a bc vaporizor for $70 on ebay. it is widely advertised in high times. so ill tell you how the smoke is.

A friend made me this pretty cool vap. It consisted of a hose nozzle w/valve attachment, turkey oven bag, SEARS heat gun, and a few knick knacks from the garden section. Works really well. I made a couple for friends already.
Most expensive thing was the heat gun. About $100 total (for gun w/ heat temp dial). Looks pretty trippy too. I'll posts pics if you want.

The funny thing is I was browsing this forum to start a topic asking the same question as Mogie.

I did try a vaporizer once, and I don't remember what brand it was. It felt like I got high, but not the same experience as normal smoking mediums. The vaporizer could be destroying cannabinoids that interact with THC to produce a certain high(CBD), so it will feel different. The weird thing was It was hard to tell with the vapor whether or not I had inhaled a good hit...it's smooth like cuervo black medallion.

I hope the $70 one purchased does well, I may just follow suit.

I vaporized some on the stove one time, and I would not recommend it.

I know I regretted getting a cheap one.

I have used a vape many times, if your smoking indoors where you shouldent be... use a vape they get rid of the smell, my friend blew his vape hoot in his older brothers face who does not smoke weed, he couldent smell weed.

I have a high bred Valcano. I have a heat gun with a digital tempature reading for heat and I use the Valcano pieces to hold the bud and their mouth piece which connects easily to the oven bag conector. It works really well and the bags fill quicker than the Valcano and it has a digital thermostat. I think it is also cheaper this way around 400. It was 250 for the Valcano parts and 150 for the gun 2 1/2 years ago.

hi mogie.. I have a volcano, it's increible! It hits nothing like my pipes or bongs. It's a great high. The setting I use is 6.5, but it really depends on the quality of the bud.

The volcano company is comming out with the VOLCANO 2. It's digital not a dial like the original. But it's still expensive
