if your going to do anything just slowly tie the branches away from one another. Defoliation is just removing leaves your plant worked hard for, and will result in a longer flowering time with less bud. The goal is to get a good light density and train correctly. LSTing is the art of slowly tying down the branches in order to increase light penetration. "trimming" is what you do when you harvest, so just to be clear, never take any leaves off of the plant, but you're doing a great job of keeping it green!
the fan leaves don't necessarily block anything. They should be wiggling a little thus allowing light down to the lower canopy. Of course you will get smaller buds down there but some people mainline instead to assure a full canopy of even buds
I also know u should just let it keep going and not mess with the auto. LST is O.K. but all that other stuff is really just slowing it down
