to trim a auto or not 2

Hi my plants about 1 week into flower I lst the side branches but now they dont seem to b3 stretchin worryed not enough lights gonna penetrate the side branches should I trim or has anyone trimmed there autos I norm top my plants and all cola norm the same height but I read u should not touch a auto I dont wanna fck it

personally I do not do anything to an auto, no topping or trimming...just plug & play

so I'm not saying you can't but I believe it's best to allow an auto to do it's own thing

Hello,

Your not suppose to trim or do anything to them just tuck the big fan leaves behind the smaller leaves.

If you trim all you do is stress the plant and the growth will go slow.

Continue lst for another week or 2 and get more light if u feel u dont have enough.

I think it depends on the pheno and size of plant. I think that autos are looking more anf more like regular plants. seems like the original autos were mostly small, single cola plants. I like an even canopy and my Northern Light auto responded very well to lst'ing the main cola. I just tied down the main cola for about 10 days during weeks 3/4. Now I have about 6 equally tall colas. This pant is about 2 feet tall or better. The main cola still has the most weight though. I also see nothing wrong with tying down some branches if you have space to allow more light penetration.. Like all things in life I guess it all depends.

I also lollipopped / removed lower branches. The buds on the lower shoots looked worthless..
