To top or not to top

so I'm growing autos, and was wandering should I top them. I hear some people say thats a bad idea because of there short time schedule, others say it works fine. What is your experiences?

My best luck was by the 3rd or 4th node. 3rd I did a few successfully on the second node after that. That is about 20% success and 80% miserable FAIL. Take the chance if you can tolerate the loss. Maybe teach us all. Good luck.

Just low stress train. I tied them to a bamboo stake at a 45 degree angle every few days or so as they grew. Turned them into very nice bushes.

I topped an Amnesia auto one time. It produced almost exactly the amount of dried bud as untopped sister. Two Colas were smaller and plant stayed short.
