To tent or not to tent

I have a 4x4x8 closet
Only going to grow in a 2x4 area
Is a tent better and worth $$ or can I just panda film the room for my grow area
My thinking is tent is better controlled environment.
Want to keep my environment in a good grow conditions
But if I can save a $100 would be great..

I have built grow rooms before in closets
Just always separated rooms by panda film

I like how my tent contains stuff like dirt, things flicking off plant or jumping, and just the odd ends of funk you get when growing. My mini room within a room adds control even if adding complexity. Plus you could run 2 separate light cycles in there with the tent.
Yeah 2 room setup after I can show wife we can keep cost down
KWH is .38 an hour..expensive in San Diego
Gear
Mars Hydro Sp3000
infinty controller 67 4inch..2x125cfm Intake
Inkird temp & humidity controllers
Heater humidifier

Damn dude, do you only clean your tent after harvest?

As soon as I see nute-water patches or dirt or crumbs from plant material I clean that shit right up. Keep everything tidy.

I would tent because the full 360 Mylar they provide really do bounce back light efficiently it’s kinda annoying applying it yourself and also may not be as efficient. Having allows for better control in my experience although if you live in a more humid climate sometimes it’s not the best idea because humidity does increase in tents as opposed to just a closet. Overall I’d say tent for light and hight control but if money is tight and you do have Mylar film go for it. I personally hate putting film on the walls it’s noisy and kinda delicate. Hope that helps. If you go tent go for the tallest one that your height enables taller the better.

Could also just paint the walls white and drop the reflective material altogether. More cost savings yah ?

The thing I like most about a tent is the built in hanging grid. I have a flowering tent and vegging room, and hanging lights in the veg room sucks. I can't really setup the layout that I want because of the stud placement. Meanwhile in the tent I have everything under the sun hanging exactly where I want it. Whenever I see Rocky brutalizing that side of beef hanging in a walk-in freezer I think about my tent.

That's how I financed my grow. I bought everything I needed and then paid it all off before the 6 month deadline. Then I upgraded everything the same way. It felt both real gangsta and real white.
