To Tall??

Hey guys im brand new to this site and doin this. We have 2 females and one of them is so tall that it is hitting the hps light and burning the top. I cannot make the light any taller because thats the cieling. What should i do? let it burn and keep the rest. Im 3 weeks into 12 12. Advice please Thanks guys

are you budding your females or just budding 1 and letting one grow for a mother?

u could tie it down some but that would stress the plant.

take the plants out of budding, put back into veg and use for clones

If it were in vegging I think I would`ve topped it to make it bushier, but that might stress it now...

tie it down - bend a little bit everyday and you can bend it near horizontal. If you do happen to break the stem - make sure and not completely detach it - it should heal and be OK - even if it is bent 90 degrees.

Ok well i bent it it snapped in half then i cut it with a straight blade. its a very clean cut . do you think it will be ok. it was so bad on the light that the leaves were burning.

it will slow growth for a few days but should continue to flower.

Can you get any clones from what you had cut?

Could you root the section that broke off and make it a flowering clone? Is that even legal?

We actually didnt even want the clones we justw ant the harvest. Thanks for all your help guys
