To tall plants

Is refusing to flip to flower and then complaining about height the new cool thing?

I've noticed it a lot here. Even posts where plants are literally touching the top of a 6 foot tent and they are just flipping to flower lol.

Rule of thumb..most statins double in size during stretch, and quite a few will triple. Best bet is to flip when you are roughly a bit less than half the height you want in a finished plant.

As it is, you still have what looks to be 2 foot you could raise the light. Looking good so far, but I'd be flipping now or topping back and training.

Hi guys iam just about to give a haircut to may plants I have 2 weeks holiday and now they are to big and they still vegging ! How should I cut them? Like we do for topping? I try lst again but won't work ! I don't have more height , they still vegging
They look fine. Flip soon. Spread out the branches for more light penetration. Defoliate some lower leaves and let them stretch. Like @VincenzioVonHook mentioned your light has more room to go up as well. Set the light @ 30" above the canopy and place your dimmer to 50% and flip.

Easy fix. Top em, wait a few days and flip em. Done and done. These aren't autos are they? You're sounding like the might be?

Fwiw, the vertical growing section doesn't actually pertain to the height of the plant, it's a distinct method of flowering plants.

I knew a guy who had his plans on 'Lazy Susans"that rotated at 1 rpm per hour. He had a really slick eccentric cam set up that raised and lowered stacked pairs of vertically-oriented 1K HIDs. He had thought it out pretty well by the time I met him, building such that exposures at both ends were even with what the middle got.

If you’re out of height space, try “super cropping.” Gently bend the main branches downward by breaking them internally without damaging the outer layer. The plant will recover quickly, and you’ll gain more vertical room. Topping at this stage might slow them down too much before flowering.

ps.
I had the same issue! Tried LST, but it was too late, so super cropping saved me. Be careful not to overdo it – I bent one branch too much and had to tape it back together. XD Plants are tougher than they look, though, so don’t stress too much!

Just a thought, but how bout you top the plants and go to the hardware store, get you some of that roll up fence and install a floating screen for each plant? Let them topped sites grow into your fence.

Experiencing how much these plants will stretch during flowering is a rite of passage for indoor growers. The first run was a mess, with colas lying on colas everywhere.
I try to construct a 6-8-top plant no taller than 15" before the flip. I typically end up with forest op tops that can reach 4 feet, and I have to use a couple of layers of trellis to support everything.
