To push or to pull

I have a 400w hps setup in my 2'x4' tent. I just sprung on a six inch inline and massive carbon filter. The setup i run is the fan sits at the top of the tent and PUSHES the air through the scrubber which sits outside the tent. It works fine for me but ive heard its better to PULL the air...... any input?

you usually want to put the inline fan outside the tent and have the filter inside so the fan sucks the smelly air through the filter, through the cooltube and out the tent.

Oh i see how you got it set up. I just have the fan hanging in the corner at the top of the tent. I figured put it there cause thats where all the heat goes. This inline is crazy though, usually i see people with temps in their tents being on average 10 degrees higher than their ambient temps. Mine actually is 2 degrees colder than the ambient. I have the intake snaked around so i get no light leaks and since it sits at the bottom of my floor in always is sucking in cool air. Works great for me. I wish i had pics cause the carbon filter I have would make you guys laugh..... I think its over kill but it looks cool having this ducting pop out the side of my tent and go straight down into this filter which is just sitting on the floor. lol
