Hi,

My grow space is 6 meters square and 2.30 high and well ventilated. I am going to plant 20 plants in that space.
Before I do so I would like to know your opinion for the right amount of light that I should use.
I planned to buy 4 hps light bulbs each 400 watt, that makes 5 plants under one light.

What should I do to get a good yield out of 20 plants.
Should I cut down to less plants per light ?
Is the 400 watt hps enough ?
Do all those lights produce to much heat in my grow area ?

20x20x7.5 ft is what i get converting

both of those choices are wrong
1000w is good for 5x5 footprint (1.5x1.5 meters)
400w is good for a 3x3 footprint (0.9x0.9 meters)

to do your whole area 100% light u need 16 1000w ....as for 20 plants 5 1000w 4 plants per 1000w gives them 2.5x2.5 (0.76x0.76 meters)

thank you buddy.
np man

oh one thing ........if u keep them tight the lights u will get a better plant too (the overlapping light waves will increase the lumens/par on the edges of the light) keep them like 11 feet(3.34 meters) apart
