To Harvest or hold on..

Hows it growin folks?
So ive got a White Widow Skunk from MSNL, that i ran outdoors in 20 gallon fabric pot in southwest Va. All organic soil, compost, worm castings dry amendments 484 and a seabirg guano 0/11/0 i think it is.
Pests in my holler are fucking unstoppable so yes i know the leaves look like shit. Leaf hoppers, aphids, white flies, caterpillars, i honestly cant name them all but they did major damage in the later summer.
Otherwise the plant has grown really well and the buds are looking amazing, super shiny in the sun at the right angle (camera cant quite capture it). They look full and the buds seem ready... But i have only seen a handful of amber on outer sugar leaves and havent noticed a single one on the bud feel like there are still a few clear ones. I thought it was going to be ready this weekend but trich's disagree.
My problem is we've been getting cold nights and frosts will come soon (not before weekend but early next week). Should i stick to plan and harvest early saturday or sunday morning even if there will probably be a bit more ripening the buds could do? Pretty sure i know the answer is to go ahead and harvest this weekend.

Im in swva too and it looks like u could use a couple weeks on that plant. Few days next week look to be the coldest we’ve had so far 27ish for the low 50’s for the high. Since its just the one plant i bet u could cover it up some at night to protect from the frost and squeeze another week or two out. Im takin the rest of mine down this weekend but they are further along than yours.

That was my thought, i had been bringing it under my porch and rigged up indoor light because of all the rain we had this season. Definitely saved the larger colas as mold and rot al have been persistent issue in my spot (managed to get it under just in time this evening before rain hit) I will probably just wheel it in there during the real cold nights, plug a little space heater or something to keep it from getting too shocked.
My other concern is the risk of mold or rot taking hold of i leave it to long. Tried to pull an extra week last year and lost alot cause of the weather that hit.
I should have also noted those pics were from friday and Saturday. I will try to get some new pics tomorrow and test this little trichomes microscope camera that arrived today.

No i sure dont, they really are looking nice, had a small sample from the other day and even wet smokes and tastes real nice also had more Amber than i thought after looking through new scope.

Raining tonight ( moved them under porch) should continue through afternoon but staying at 61 tonight. Friday / saturday are pretty perfect and low 55% humid days. Sunday calls for rain by afternoon.. so maybe need to just pull that trigger on ol dirty harry up there!

Personally, I'd hang-in there as long as you feel you can BUT, I wouldn't lose it to the weather either; not after all that effort. You did a great job fighting the weather and pests so-far. This last season was brutal outside. Many will likely disagree with me; I'd chop soon rather than lose it, if you feel you really might lose it to the weather. I've been forced to harvest early, it happens. The end-result could have been better, and all things considered certainly better than losing the plant entirely. Not my best efforts, but not the worst results either; it's still better than any street or dispensary product in my opinion. Every situation is different and they are constantly changing. Do what you must without regrets and don't look back. Good luck, I truly hope it works-out.

I would try to ride it put for another week atleast, a frost or two won't hurt them. Buds could use all the time you can give them

Looks like late stage leaf septoria, do you remember how long ago the yellow spots started in the leaves? Just been dealing with some early stage leaf septoria myself and curious how long it takes to progress to that stage. Cheers.

Was going to say sure looks like septoria to me.

If you've been dealing with constant pests this is how I think. They've been shitting, dying, humping, on those plants and all of the material left behind from their activities can cause rot. I'd pull now and bud wash.

I didn't even notice the septoria, you need to harvest and wash asap..

I would harvest pretty soon, before too much of the septoria gets on the sugar leaves. Then the sugar leaves die back into the buds and then the dryness spreads through the actual flower. Looks pretty done to me, as I look at the pistils and the overall plant, as well as trichomes.
