To flush, or not to flush?

Hi everyone, long time lurker but first time poster. I have a set of young plants that are still in solo cups with their second leaf set, recently I watered one of them with 20% strength Canna coco nutes, and although I see marked improvement in growth already, I see the edges of the leaves are starting to yellow, which worries me even the small amount of nutes I gave was far too much (which is also why I didn't give the nutes to all the plants yet, wanted to test it.).

Now here is my question, since I watered so recently the leaves have some definite droop from overwatering, should I :
A) go ahead and flush the plant with RO water
or
B) Wait for all the water in the cup to dry up/get used before watering normally with RO water (or even less concentrated nutes, like 5-10%)

I could really use the help. It's my first actual grow and even though I've done a ton of reading, there is no substitute for some real world experience!

Coco/Perlite 60/40 mix btw

I'll try to get some pictures up in just a moment too

I'll try to take some right now then. The reason I ask is because the other plants I have did not receive any nutes yet, just water, and they have no yellowing. It's been a little over two weeks since germination.
Some phenotypes are heavier eaters. They tend to start getting hungry right around 2 weeks in, so it's completely normal (what you are seeing).

That's reassuring, thank you. Here are some pictures of the one I'm worried about, as well as a picture of one that has received no nutes at all yet, it has much darker leaves and slow growth, but the coco doesn't seem to be drying out as fast, so I have been hesitant with it. The darker plant is also different genetics though, so that could be big part of it.

The third image, ending in 654[1] is the one with just RO water.( edit: don't know if you noticed, but this plant is not only growing more slowly, but asymmetrically too. Wondering if I should just rewater with nutes even though the cup still has weight to it...)

Seeing some purple on them makes me think they are sitting in colder than normal temps. Seedlings love warmer temps and high humidity. I would think about doming them, and misting, and trying to up your temps. 78-80F and 50%+ RH.

My temps according to the thermometer are between 78-84f throughout the day. RH stays around 40%, but I do have an oscillating fan in there on low, think that could be making them too cold?

You give great grow advice.
Haha gotcha

Actually, that sounds just about perfect ambient for seedies. Just need to go easy on the watering and give it another week or two until next feed.

Welcome to Riu. There are plenty of more knowledgeable people around here than me. Stick around and keep reading. Best of luck.

Sounds good, thanks for the help!

I'd leave the oscillating fan on 24/7.
So far I have been. At least I got one thing right 8)

Do not give those poor little babies ,,nutrients,, for any reason,,they are A to small in life B do not have the need or root system to support it,,, almost anything you give at this point will be more then it needs,,It needs time ,,give it that,,I see you have him in pete moss starter those are great for keeping some moisture ,,make sure you have plenty of drainage ,,for your cups,,, I here the myth of over watering all the time,,,,,no such thing there is in at quite drainage issues or to much of a type of soil or medium that holds water,,,,,,,,,,, Outside it can rain for a week straight and plants live threw it ,,soil has drainage,,,,,,,,,,,,,if you have poor drainage can cause a plant to wilt or go into a over water shock or rot the roots,,or if Nutrients are given there is not enough drainage and it is able to sit until it does burn the plant,,,,,,,,make sure you have good drain friend,,,,In a nursery they water every day with no issue to root rot or any other issue look at the drains on a cheap pot that a plant comes in ,,,,,I let my plants hit 24 inches,,and transplant into temp 1 gallon pots,,,but little plants are pretty good the Pete moss has a PK rating as it is,,,is very easy to over do a little guy ,,,,Give them time they will be want you want in time there is no good way to rush that

All of the cups have good drainage luckily, yeah. I poked holes in the bottom and used tin snips to cut notches out of the rim of the cups base. But basically what you are saying is not to be terrified of overwatering, as long as I have good drainage right? I obviously want to avoid it, but it won't be the end of the world.

When do you all recommend I DO start the nutes?

I do not use on mine unless one looks like he needs it really I hand mix my soil and do feed molasses,,,1 tsp mixed to a gallon of water bout every other week,,I have used a 10-10-10 on mine twice at half strenght,,,,,,on tiny young plants if it is really needed I look at a nutrient ,for starter plants ,,maybe a 1-1-1 or a 5-2-2 but less is more for me,,also water to the out side of your cup it will cause root growth or help,,The nutrient thing is really in my view a preference of the grower as some guy do not use at all I tend to count on a good soil for the most part ,,I need fewer added nutrients or have been real lucky,,with healthy plants I run mine,,,In florescent while young, slower growth ,,but it allows for good root development ,,,and then when thrown into the big veg room they explode go crazy after transplant,,,a week or so after transplant I give mine a taste,,,, but I gave nothing with out burning them in the solo's cups been my XP,,
