Well long story short there is a local store that posts a grow diary on the stores website. I follow along weekly as I'm sure others do too.
I've noticed that the "Previous" and "Next" buttons seem to be different and I would like other opinions before I reply again. :P

As you see the pages are titled as the week of grow...so I just used present "Week 7" and "Week 6" for a simple example
I removed parts to not link to them directly and these are screen shots spliced together basically.

My email to them was this....
Now I'm very aware that this 'issue' ( for lack of a better term) is just MY OCD kicking in, but figured I'd send a quick message to see if maybe there is a reason. :)
I follow along on your grow diaries and I must say they are fabulous and very enjoyable to read about products and the progress from other growers.
One small thing that I have noticed is the links at the bottom of each week for "Previous" and "Next"...they are backwards I believe. Visually or orientation.
Also where say in the current week at the bottom it says "Next" and when clicked it goes to the week prior, which should be the "Previous" week.
Sorry for being sooo OCD its just something I've noticed and have wondered about.

The reply came in 2 parts, but thats fine due to having to look into the question I asked...
1st:

Hey!
Thanks for letting me know! Must be a weird orientation thing with the site. I’ll look into it and try to fix!
Thanks for tuning in!
Thanks!
2nd:
Hey!
So the next/previous thing….
The next article is the most recently published article—not necessarily mutually exclusive to the week in the diary. So if you are on week 6 the next most recent article is technically “Week 5” because “Week 7” hasn’t happened yet.
Sorry its so confusing!
Thanks!

My current reply sitting in Draft folder...lol.
Thanks for replying.
A possible easy fix to not have it confusing is maybe rename "Next" and "Previous" to the week number.
So if you are on week 6 then it shows "Week 5" or even just "5"and not showing "Week 7" since it hasn't happened.
With the title being "Week #" it is kind of misleading is all because the "Next week would be week 7, if we still use week 6 as a start point, which wouldn't show due to it not happening yet. It would show "5" to tell use there is a previous week or previous information to be seen.
Previous means something that has happened or past. Where in your explanation doesn't exist as of yet.
Next means something following the current. This is used by you as a go to the next available page of information.
I am aware that in coding the terms get reversed at times. I just see it like you wouldn't say to someone "Hey see you previous week". You would say "Hey see you next week"...lol
Like I said its mainly just an OCD thing and I don't loose sleep or anything so don't worry. Its just a thing that sits in the back of my mind that I have to remember when I'm at your site. I need to recall the terms are not as the english language uses them, but as coding does.

So now I'm wondering if its even worth my time to continue explaining how english works compared to coding a website...what do you think?

You are definitely wasting your time. Machine language works like a heirarchical dictionary. However, many improvements have been made with programs like Visual Studio that make coding feel a lot more like English. I think the solution is just to use your brain here let your ocd pass and perhaps improve yourself in some way.

My advice is “smoke something”. That’ll make it less likely that you’ll post a long diatribe about basically nothing, containing triggers to MY OCD such as “loose” for lose and an image that loads badly.

ceterum censeo:
The title held promise of some quality borderline overemoting screed about, say, life or relationships or insufflating mama’s scheduled meds.
Instead a mega macro shot of a molehill. I am disappoint.
