I need some help. I am 3.5 weeks into flowering. I have been using the Doktor Doom Fogger. I would like to spray with Azamax. Will this effect the taste? Will it kill the spider mites?
At this point I am open to all suggestions. Today I searched for any signs of live ones. Didn't see any moving. Thank You for your help.Hey , im not sure abt this but, I get this product called ROGOR, it has dimethoate. Works prettty well on medium infestations . U can use it upto 2 weeks of flower. Infact austrailan and dutch governments recommend these for soyabeans , during their airid weather spells.
If alternated with neem oil , like 1 spraying a cpl of weeks, i doubt u will ever get spidermites.
But like i said , im not a pro.
Cheers
LOL, did you expect to? I'd be scared to go anywhere near those plants now too.At this point I am open to all suggestions. Today I searched for any signs of live ones. Didn't see any moving. Thank You for your help.
No I didn't expect to see them. The reason for the overkill it they had been coming back every time I did something else. Hopefully I didin't do any damage to plants. The spider mites were overtaking my room so it was either let them have the plants or fight them with everything possible. Now that I am putting the Azamax in the soil for my clones and mothers hopefully I will not need to do it like this again.LOL, did you expect to? It's all good man. I will post some pics one of these days.I was only teasing ya. I'da done the exact same thing to protect my plants.
I check them everyday. I have not seen anything on my maturing plants. I did find a small web on one my clones about a week ago. Nothing since then.In my experience neem based products (which azamax is, I've used it), are not effective if you have an INFESTATION. I want to be clear that if you have adult insects, neem products do not work well on them. This is because its mode of action is to interrupt hormones in the insect and do not allow it to reach maturity. With this knowledge in mind, you should use something that actually kills the insect on contact (some type of knock down, we can debate which ones work well). I have battled spider mites in the past and I must say the only thing that worked was floramite. I tried all organic methods with very little success, till floramite. You may have had success because you used a knock down first, then the azamax which is probably a very solid approach. The root drench is a good idea as well, because neem is supposed to be systemic. Keep a close eye on your plants, because even one left could start the cycle all over again. Good luck!
