Happy Father's Day!

My children are all grown up and have been on their own for several years now, and live thousands of Kilometres away.

However, I live right on a lake and it's going to get up to 88F with pure sunshine, so I'm going to enjoy Father's Day with some boating, fishing, swimming and having some pints with my feet dangling in the water.
Pints and kilometers?

What crazy planet are you from?

A planet where my wife is a dual US-Canada citizen, and I deal with many people from both sides of the border regularly ;)

I'm used to doing all manner of translations in my head, and frequently use both standard and metric systems in the same sentence LOL

...trust me, if there was a way I could convince the US to switch to the much more logical metric system, I'd have done it years ago.

I grew up with both systems side-by-side. I’m pretty good with doing the conversions on the fly.
My folks had an outdoor thermometer that they brought with them from Austria. It had two scales: Celsius and Réaumur. That scale placed freezing water at zero ... and boiling water at 80 degrees.
