NO Shit, Why you think I was determined to grow my own. It was running about 400 -450 for a good while, 1/4 would run 100/120 & 1/2 about 175-200, then errbody went crazy on this price inflation when gas and economics started going up and droughts followed, down at the bottom, schawg to good schawg and a few hookups w/ dro quality is all you can find, so they tax the shit out of us. Purple is the best we get around here, so when I begin introducing blue chz, blu berry, WW, Red Diesel, NYCD, strawberry blu, & the list goes on, Well can you say Capitalizm baby, I'm going to get mine too.

By the way have you made purchases in the South recently for less? N.O. to be specific If so, I want your hoOkup Too!!

I agree the aerogarden is a waste of money, and honestly Al, I think your rotating harvest set-up is ingenious and hope to operate something like that some day. However, I foolishly bought an aerogarden for my first grow, and I had fun with it. It was modified of course with CFL's, airstone, the works...maybe even a boob job . I got 33 grams off of the one female out of the bunch from seed. It took 16 weeks, but if they were clones I'm sure it would have been faster (probably not 9 though). After the whole experience I have to say the Aerogarden is not worth the money, and CFLs aren't worth growing with (at least not flowering). You might as well invest in quality HPS, and there are many DYI setups all over these forums for hydro, aero, you name it.

Both of these pics are the one plant. I did two separate harvests, top half (pic 1) then bottom (pic 2).

The pictured SoG budstalks all yielded about 1z/ea. Grown with 1000HPS in cooltubes. About the only way to get plants like this out of an aerogarden is to chuck out the fluoro lighting and add a 400HPS. The aerogarden won't be big enough to support the rootmass of plant like those I've pictured, so a watering system upgrade will be needed.

By the time you've replaced the aerogarden's lighting and watering systems, you have what we call 'Grandpa's axe,' the one which is on its 3rd handle and 4th head, but by gum it's still Grandpa's axe!
