So... Im working on an upgrade from my soil grow to hydroponics.

Heres the setup: 4'x8' Sunhut, 24-2.5 gallon site Ebb and grow with a 600watt hps on a 6' light mover.. and idkkkkkk somewhere around 5 or 600 CFM 6" inline fan.

I am new to the grow tent idea, Ive always used closets and or homebuilt wood structures built with mylar covering it... so any thoughts there? idk just looking for every thought/idea surrounding the tent and the ebb and grow that anyone has to offer...

Who here uses the Sunhut or a similar product? How has is suited your needs and or worked for ya? how are they with mold? idk random questionsssss random thoughts are what im looking for.... Ive been growing in dirt for a while now.. been doing really well with that.. just realizing that hydro is just that much faster and better for the plant itself

oh yeah.. this is a flower space... my veg is floro... kinda shitty in comparison to the flower space.. im using simple 4' hardware store tubes i think they are 40 watt each... it works though.. just a slow growth system.. might upgrade that next....

well sorry for writing a novel... thanks for any and all help that comes out of this:joint:

I have tried light movers and they just don't live up to the hype. My yield actually went down in my garden when I started using one so, $200? for the mover + lost production = I would loose the mover, especially with a 600w flowering lamp. The tents work well though a friend of mine uses tents and has killer yields.

Sorry for the double post but I should have told you that when I switched from 1 x 1000w HPS on a light mover to 2 x 600W HPS in dual cool tube for better light coverage my yield doubled, yes doubled, from about 6 oz per 15 plants to 3/4lb for the same number, not a trifling difference.

yeah im looking into that second light.. probably gunna go with the second 600. They are great... Ive never had the chance to see the results with a 1000 in person, but the 600s have good coverage and intensity...
my results with a light mover have been awesome.. probably not as good as two lights.. but its allowed me to cover a full 4x8' space no prob with pretty dense results
