Tips on when to harvest by master grower "Subcool"

1. Fully-formed but still clear will provide a cleaner 'up' high with less sedative effect; this is the best window for heavy Indicas.

2. Fully-formed and turning slightly cloudy or milky; this is probably the best time to pick most hybrids available today.

3. Fully formed completely cloudy or milky with at least 30% of the heads turning amber; this is usually best window for the late maturing Sativa’s such as Haze. This is also a good window when using the plant primarily for Hash production.

op, it's not you, it's sub. he's not as popular as you may think.

So what is the story with SubCool? I have no idea. Fill me in. I want to laugh too.

I think the main thing is people say he uses others hard work as in potent strains that others took years to make through careful selection and he breeds those to make his stuff. In all honesty 90% of the so called breeders do this so it's no secret. If someone can market it and make money their going to, end of story. Is it right? Meh I see both sides of the argument but I likes to chime in on the fun

Personally, I like Subcool -- he's just ONE of several breeders in the TGA group, and the strains that he promotes are TGA strains, not necessarily specifically his own. There are some really good breeders in that group, so I'm not sure what people are really complaining about.

I've grown a couple of the TGA strains now -- currently a day or two away from chopping a Pennywise, and I loved the Jillybean I grew last year. So did everyone who sampled it.

TGA has really good descriptions of the effects of their different strains, and it does what it says on the tin.

Subcool, however, is the most public of the TGA group -- he has his Weed Nerd show on YouTube and publicizes a lot of his charity work. And he has a strong personality. So it's not surprising he's a bit of a lightning rod for both fans and foes. Whatever...
