Tips on how to medicate/smoke LESS?

I know this may not be a popular topic but hear me out.

For the past three years, with the exception of quitting for a preemployment screening, I have been smoking daily. Yesterday I decided that though I doubt I will ever give cannabis up completely, it doesn't seem healthy for me to be getting medicated every single day after work and I will limit it to 2-3 times weekly. I do suffer from fairly severe anxiety and depression issues I see a psychiatrist for, and I do think marijuana does help me along with prescribed medication, but I don't want to make a daily habit of it and feel dependent on any substance.

Has anyone here decided to cut down on their smoking habits? What has helped you do that?

Thanks

A vaporizer is a good investment.

Gets you high for less and also isn't as habit forming asa bong or joint which feels so good in your hand/mouth.

I like my vaporizer but it doesn't have the rest of the habit that people get addicted to like the burn or the mouth fixation with bongs and joints similar to people addicted to cigarettes

exercise is one of the best ways. It releases endo-cannabinoids which in one way or another will fill some part of the high you want to have. Also a cup of tea or coffee gives you a caffeine "high" that can help stop cravings. When i take a tolerance break for whatever amount of time i try and cut all unhealthy things like unreasonable amounts of chocolate/red meat/salted food and eat more veggies/lean meat/drink more and different types of tea/coffee without sugar. Then once im smoking again ill fry up a nice steak and enjoy the two. Im not perfect :)
