Tips of early leaf sets turning yellow?

Alright well its probably been about a week and a half since I planted this seedling under a couple 26w 65k CFLs. Lights are on 24/7, watering daily or as needed. I know its a no-no but I'm using MG soil. I've since visited the hydro store and picked up some ocean forest. I've got good air circulation and the temps are a steady 72-74*F

am I worried about nothing? I wish I would have taken a pic of the other leaf too, that one has more yellow. one thing I don't know is my pH level. I've grown a couple plants that I had to chop down early a few years ago in the same closet, using the same water, so I assumed I was safe here. could that be a legit concern?

is it growing really slow ? i said u might water every day ? that is a nono with MG soil because it has slow realese nutes the more u water the more ure burning your plants. basically either put it in new soil 'with no little yellow balls" or slow down on your watering, u want the pot to dry up completly then add water. but im thinking your soil might have to much nutes in it at them moment for that little plant to recover. transplant new soil

I think its all alright my friend, my plants look exsactly the same , i just think its a bit of extra water, stop watering for a day, let the soil dry, and it will all green out!

i have had the prob a ton. You are fine.. as long as your new growth is coming in nice.. ur set

im having the same problem with mine right now. im growing in rockwool though and i just realized today that i forgot to get nutes. mine might be a problem of overwatering too, im not really sure though. my plant is just a little bit smaller than yours, When did you start it??

New growth is coming in fine, just those first leaves are still turning yellow and now the edges of the leaves are going from yellow'ish to tan'ish. I knew I had to be careful when watering using MG soil, but I guess I didn't think watering daily would play such a negative effect.
